Javier Roche | Lead Pastor

Javier (Jabi) had been attending Lawrence Evangelical Church since 2002. In 2004, he felt the Lord call him into full-time ministry. After 3 1/2 years of studying at Eastern Nazarene College, he returned to be the Youth Pastor until 2010. He has since served at other churches throughout New England until he felt the Lord calling him once again to Lawrence Evangelical Church where he was installed as the Lead Pastor on July 10th. 

He and his wife, Gigi, are the parents of two energetic boys (Isaiah and Gabriel).

Javier loves to preach the Gospel, Marvel movies, and his favorite ice creams are pistachio and black raspberry from Richardson's Ice Cream. 

Jenny Macea Marte | Worship Director

Jenny has been at Lawrence Evangelical Church since 2009 and leading worship since August of 2019.

She is a wife and mom to two beautiful adult daughters (Jackie and Genesis). 

Jenny loves anything carbs, but she'd have to say her favorite is pizza...any and all kinds! Her weakness is coffee, but she tries to keep it under control.

Jenny's favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 2:8.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from your works, it is a gift of God. Amen.

Chris Blanco | Audio/Visual Director

Chris has been attending LEC since 2008 and began to serve in the sound booth in 2014. 

Growing up, his father had a music studio and Chris began running videos for their local church alongside his father on the boards at the age of 9. He has been immersed in audio ever since. Despite his early interest, Lawrence Evangelical Church has really been Chris's birthing ground of development. He adds, "God has always blessed us with amazing talent from within the community. Brother Edwin Cruz was a shepherd, instructor, and a wealth of knowledge who passed the torch and gave me this opportunity."

Chris has a beautiful wife (Heidi) and three amazing children who all have grown up in this church. "I will forever be honored and grateful to serve Lawrence Evangelical Church.
